Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred nursing care to adults with disabilities and complex needs
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines
- Support service users in maintaining independence and dignity
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Adhere to HIQA standards and organisational policies
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse qualification with NMBI registration
- Experience in disability services or similar healthcare settings is desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts as required
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the Staff Nurse General (2135) scale, ranging from €37,788 to €56,032, with Long Service Increments applicable. This is a specified purpose wholetime contract offering structured working hours, professional development opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
