Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and budgeting processes across the region
- Oversee performance management frameworks and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with HSE financial governance and audit requirements
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership teams
- Drive efficiency and value-for-money initiatives
- Manage and support finance teams across multiple locations
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align financial and service goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant senior management experience in financial planning or performance management
- Strong understanding of public sector finance, ideally within healthcare
- Professional accounting qualification (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver strategic outcomes
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €86,604 – €107,727 per annum (aligned with General Manager Grade 0041)
Contract Type: Specified Purpose Wholetime
