Join Wexford General Hospital (HSE Dublin and South East) as a Grade V RIS Manager. This permanent, whole-time opportunity is open only to eligible HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agency employees under WRC Agreement 161867.
About the Role
The Grade V RIS Manager plays a key role in managing Radiology Information Systems (RIS) to ensure efficient, accurate, and secure information flow within hospital services. The position requires strong administrative, ICT, and management skills to support the delivery of quality patient care and service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Coordinate system maintenance, upgrades, and user support.
- Liaise with clinical and administrative teams to optimise workflow.
- Manage data quality, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to system users.
- Work collaboratively with ICT and hospital management on digital health initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement and risk management within Radiology services.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Eligible HSE / TUSLA / Section 38 / Statutory Health Agency employee status.
- Proven administrative or ICT management experience within healthcare.
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with RIS, PACS, or hospital information systems.
- Supervisory or team coordination experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of HSE ICT and data governance standards.

- Salary: per HSE Grade V (code 0566) consolidated scale, effective 1 August 2025 — approximately €46,825–€56,904 per annum as per Department of Health Circular 6/2025.
