Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting internal applications for the position of Grade VI SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) Trainer – Finance & Procurement (Reference: TT6825).
This permanent wholetime role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced HSE, TUSLA, or Section 38/Statutory health agency employees to contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of Ireland’s public health service.
About the Role
The SAP CoE Trainer (Finance and Procurement) will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programmes to a diverse user base across the HSE network. The role supports the rollout and optimization of SAP Finance and Procurement systems, ensuring end users are confident, capable, and compliant in system use.
You will collaborate with business process owners, ICT and Finance teams, and the broader SAP Centre of Excellence to embed best practices and standardisation across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver structured SAP Finance and Procurement training to end users and key stakeholders.
- Produce professional, high-standard training materials and eLearning content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational processes.
- Provide post-implementation support and refresher training where required.
- Gather and analyse feedback to continuously improve training delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP system updates and HSE training methodologies.
- Contribute to knowledge management and documentation within the CoE.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Currently employed within the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agency, or statutory health agency, as per WRC Agreement 161867.
- Demonstrated experience in training delivery to a diverse workforce.
- Proven ability to develop training materials and documentation to a professional standard.
- Working knowledge of SAP Finance and/or Procurement modules.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or related ERP systems.
- Understanding of public sector financial and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
What We Offer
- Grade VI (0574) HSE consolidated salary scale: €55,027 – €66,427 per annum (effective 1 August 2025).
