About the Role
The HSE invites applications for the post of Grade VII Medical Manpower, based at the National Ambulance Service Critical Care Retrieval Service (NASCCRS), Laurel Unit, Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10.
This is a confined competition, open only to permanently appointed Grade VII staff currently employed in the HSE. The successful candidate will play a key role in workforce planning, recruitment coordination, and manpower reporting within the National Ambulance Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of medical manpower management.
- Develop and maintain systems for rostering, staffing, and compliance tracking.
- Support workforce planning aligned with service delivery needs.
- Liaise with HR and departmental managers to ensure staffing requirements are met.
- Prepare reports, data analysis, and documentation for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across NASCCRS.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Current permanent appointment at Grade VII level in the HSE.
- Proven experience in medical manpower, HR administration, or workforce planning.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HSE administrative systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred
- Experience in the National Ambulance Service or healthcare workforce management.
- Knowledge of relevant HSE policies and circulars.
