Key Responsibilities
As a Systems Integration Specialist with HSE Technology & Transformation, you will:
- Design, develop and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions for healthcare data management systems
- Provide comprehensive application interface support across various healthcare technology platforms
- Develop and maintain integration documentation, policies, procedures, test scripts and scenarios
- Perform interoperability analysis between different healthcare systems and applications
- Conduct gap analysis between inbound and outbound transactions with minimal supervision
- Support application integration methodologies to ensure seamless data flow across HSE systems
- Work with vendor specifications and industry standards for healthcare data exchange
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that improve patient care
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Criteria (must be demonstrated by application deadline):
Technical Experience Required:
- Proven experience in designing, writing and deploying ETL solutions in enterprise environments
- Significant experience in application interface support with deep understanding of support methodologies
- Interoperability experience with ability to read standard and vendor specifications
- Gap analysis expertise for system integration projects
- Development of technical documentation, policies, procedures, and test scenarios
Additional Qualifications:
- Third-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with healthcare systems integration (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of Irish data protection regulations and healthcare compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
