Comfort Keepers Ireland is hiring Healthcare Assistants (Home Support Workers / Carers) in Sligo. This is an opportunity to provide essential homecare support to clients while earning up to €17 per hour, with paid travel time, mileage, and flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal and emotional care, companionship, and assistance with daily living.
- Support clients with mobility, medication prompts, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
- Follow personalised care plans while respecting clients’ independence and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and report changes in clients’ wellbeing.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (or willingness to complete).
- Experience in homecare, healthcare, or community care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, patience, and reliability are essential.
- Valid EU Driving Licence and access to a car required.
- Eligible to work in Ireland (visa/work permit if applicable).
