Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and daily living support to service users
- Assist clients with mobility, hygiene, dressing, and meal support
- Support individuals living with dementia and other healthcare needs
- Deliver companionship and emotional support in a respectful manner
- Assist with palliative and person-centred care services
- Maintain accurate care documentation and follow healthcare guidelines
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and care teams
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all service users
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent spoken English
- Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Located in or able to travel to Sligo and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care
- Previous healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential
- Willingness to complete training and QQI Level 5 support if required
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Pay for this Healthcare Assistant role is up to €18.75 per hour with premium weekly pay available. Both permanent full-time and part-time opportunities are available with flexible shift patterns designed to suit different lifestyles and commitments.
