The Fingal ICTU Centre for the Unemployed, based in Finglas West, Dublin 11, is seeking a Housekeeper under the Community Employment (CE) Programme. This is a part-time developmental role, designed to provide valuable work experience alongside accredited training opportunities.
About the Role
This position is ideal for those seeking to re-enter the workforce or gain structured experience in facilities support and housekeeping. No prior experience is necessary, as full accredited training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in reception, meeting rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms.
- Prepare workspaces for meetings and training sessions.
- Provide refreshments as required during events.
- Carry out additional housekeeping tasks as directed by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Eligibility for the Community Employment Programme (21+ and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18+ for certain disadvantaged groups).
- Commitment to completing accredited training provided during the programme.
Preferred
- Interest in developing skills in facilities management or hospitality support.
