The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Professional (HSCP) Project Officer to support the rollout of programmes under the Digital for Care Framework. This national position plays a key role in advancing Ireland’s healthcare digital transformation.
About the Role
The HSCP Project Officer will help coordinate and implement digital transformation projects across Ireland’s Health and Social Care Professions. Working within the Technology and Transformation Division, you will ensure consistent adoption of digital tools and innovation that improve care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of programmes under the Digital for Care Framework.
- Collaborate with HSCP teams to standardise processes and digital workflows.
- Manage documentation, progress reporting, and project governance.
- Facilitate engagement with regional and national stakeholders.
- Contribute to evaluation, data quality, and service improvement activities.
- Assist in the development of resources, training, and best-practice guidance.
- Represent HSCP interests within multi-disciplinary digital initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- A recognised qualification in a Health and Social Care Profession.
- Eligibility for CORU registration, where applicable.
- Proven project management or coordination experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex setting.
Preferred
- Experience working in digital transformation, technology adoption, or innovation projects.
- Understanding of HSE systems and structures.
- Familiarity with national data governance and quality frameworks.
