Our client, a well-established biologics company based in County Sligo, is currently seeking a Project Engineer III to join their team on a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support to maximise uptime of site process equipment and utilities.
• Manage capital projects across the site, ensuring successful delivery from concept to completion.
• Support equipment uptime and efficiency improvements through proactive engineering input.
• Lead process safety projects and contribute to site-wide safety initiatives.
• Offer troubleshooting expertise and technical support across manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and process performance.
• Manage commissioning and validation of process equipment.
• Prepare feasibility studies and manage budgets for assigned projects.
• Oversee external contractors and manage related contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with site goals.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in API manufacturing, oral solid dose, or biopharmaceuticals.
• Proven ability to deliver capital projects (equipment, utilities, facilities).
• Solid understanding of cGMP and healthcare industry regulations.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to support team collaboration.
