Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established biologics company based in County Sligo, is currently seeking a Project Engineer III to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-value capital projects and gain exposure to new systems and equipment in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to maximise uptime of site process equipment and utilities.
- Manage capital projects across the site, ensuring successful delivery from concept to completion.
- Support equipment uptime and efficiency improvements through proactive engineering input.
- Lead process safety projects and contribute to site-wide safety initiatives.
- Offer troubleshooting expertise and technical support across manufacturing operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and process performance.
- Manage commissioning and validation of process equipment.
- Prepare feasibility studies and manage budgets for assigned projects.
- Oversee external contractors and manage related contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with site goals.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in API manufacturing, oral solid dose, or biopharmaceuticals.
- Proven ability to deliver capital projects (equipment, utilities, facilities).
- Solid understanding of cGMP and healthcare industry regulations.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to support team collaboration.
