The Central Remedial Clinic is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist for our Children’s Disability Network Team in Dublin North. This permanent full-time role offers €97,528 – €114,638 and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives.
About the Role
As Senior Clinical Psychologist, you’ll provide specialized psychological intervention to children aged 0-18 years with complex developmental needs within our interdisciplinary team. You’ll work within our Family Centered Practice Model, delivering evidence-based interventions while supporting families through their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead psychological assessments and interventions for children with complex developmental needs
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior psychology staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists
- Develop and implement family-centered treatment plans aligned with Progressing Disability Services framework
- Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children 0-18 years
- Provide consultation and training to families, carers, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives
Essential Requirements
Education: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with PSI accreditation Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in clinical psychology with children and developmental disabilities Certification: Full registration with Psychology Society of Ireland (PSI) Skills: Expertise in family-centered practice models, developmental psychology, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced training in specific therapeutic interventions (ABA, CBT, or family therapy)
- Experience working within Children’s Disability Network Teams
- Knowledge of Progressing Disability Services framework
- Research experience in pediatric psychology or developmental disabilities
