Position Overview
We are inviting applications for the position of Midwifery Clinical Skills Facilitator (CMM2) to join our Maternity Services team at Sligo University Hospital.
This is a specified purpose, whole-time temporary position, with the opportunity to join a panel for future permanent or temporary roles within the West North West Hospitals Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and facilitate clinical midwifery training and education
- Support and mentor student midwives and new staff
- Ensure evidence-based practices across the maternity department
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and academic partners
Skills & Attributes Required
- Qualified Registered Midwife
- Strong experience in maternity services and acute hospital settings
- Proven track record in clinical education or skills facilitation
- Leadership qualities aligned with Clinical Nurse/Midwife Manager 2 (CMM2) level
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
