Brothers of Charity Services Ireland are seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker (Disability Services) to join their Clarinbridge team in Co. Galway. This is a permanent, full-time (78 hours per fortnight) position supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred environment.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support that empowers individuals to achieve greater independence and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to individuals in line with personal care plans and organisational policies.
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all interactions.
- Assist with social, educational, and recreational activities.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual support planning.
- Liaise effectively with families, colleagues, and external professionals.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or equivalent discipline.
- Experience working in disability or social care services preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and inclusion.

Salary (as per August 2025 HSE Consolidated Pay Scales)
Grade: Social Care Worker (3029)
Scale (effective 1 August 2025):
€36,612 – €52,664 per annum (including LSIs, depending on experience and service).
