Social Care Worker – Supported Living Services, Dublin South

Join WALK’s dynamic Supported Living team as a Social Care Worker in Dublin South. You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities to live self-determined, socially inclusive lives in line with their personal plans and preferences. This is a one-year, full‑time or part‑time fixed‑term role, open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants, working on behalf of a publicly funded organisation.

🧑‍💼 Role & Key Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to achieve personal goals and live self-determined lives within their communities.
• Provide day-to-day support and work with families, respecting the wishes of individuals supported.
• Build social capital by encouraging participation in community activities.
• Collaborate with support teams, clinical professionals, and leadership to deliver safe, effective services.
• Assist the team leader/centre coordinator in maintaining HIQA compliance.

📄 Working Arrangement

• Contract: Fixed‑term (1 year), Wholetime (full‑time) or Part‑time options available.
• Grade: 3029 Social Care Worker
• Employment type: External, open to all (HSE and non‑HSE) via WALK (Section 39)
