Job Overview
As a Staff Nurse or Enhanced Nurse with Corlann, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. The successful candidates will work across residential and day service settings throughout Cork City, surrounding suburbs, and St. Patrick’s Upton, Innishannon.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Support service users in achieving independence and social inclusion goals
- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, and wellbeing for all service users
- Participate in care planning, risk assessment, and service reviews
- Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
- Support a positive, respectful, and inclusive care environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Relevant nursing qualification suitable for intellectual disability services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is desirable
- Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding principles
- Flexibility to work across residential and day service settings
- Full clean driving licence may be advantageous for some locations
