As a Supply Chain Coordinator in Sligo, you will support the efficient management of supply chain operations across AbbVie’s manufacturing site. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring materials, suppliers, and data are managed seamlessly — contributing directly to business success and patient impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to manage materials through approval and implementation stages.
- Maintain accurate vendor records in Supply Chain Business Systems (DSP, SAP).
- Collaborate with Global Supply Planning, Site Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely shipment and supply.
- Lead site Material Reviews to manage material disposition efficiently.
- Execute and monitor monthly and weekly key metrics for Supply Chain.
- Maintain and update SAP planning parameters.
- Prepare reports and data for monthly S&OP cycles.
- Uphold all EH&S and quality standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Ownership and Accountability
- Ensure materials are ready to support production and product launches.
- Communicate issues impacting supply chain performance to management.
- Adhere to GMP, HIPAA/FDA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive efficiency and reliability across operations.
Influence and Leadership
- Build cross-functional relationships across teams and departments.
- Contribute to cost improvement and process enhancement projects.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Technical or Business discipline.
- Experience managing and analyzing data from ERP/MRP systems (especially SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills and data accuracy mindset.
- Proven experience in international cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
