Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is recruiting a Support Worker (Care Assistant – Disability Services) based in Ennis, County Clare. This permanent part-time role offers an opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals in a caring, person-centred environment. Open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to service users with intellectual disabilities.
- Assist individuals in daily living activities and personal development.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and community participation.
- Maintain accurate records in line with service policies.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience or training in disability, social care, or healthcare support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach.
- Flexibility to work part-time and across different settings.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent) desirable.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Care Assistant (Disability Services) 6482 – HSE consolidated salary scales apply (1 August 2025 increase included).
- Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time.
