We’re looking for an enthusiastic Team Member to join our Barista team at our Costa Retail Park location in Sligo. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to begin their career in the hospitality industry, with no previous experience required. You’ll be part of a supportive environment where learning and development are prioritized, and where many of our current leaders started their journey as Baristas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality barista-made coffee and beverages to our customers
- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring every customer leaves with a smile
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop and work areas
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Learn and follow Costa Coffee’s signature brewing methods and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems accurately
- Support promotional activities and maintain product displays to company standards
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- No previous experience necessary – full training provided
- Enthusiasm for coffee and customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Strong communication skills and friendly personality
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
