Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audiology services across multiple community healthcare locations
- Provide advanced audiological assessments and hearing rehabilitation services
- Supervise and mentor junior audiology staff and trainees
- Develop and implement clinical protocols for hearing healthcare delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in community healthcare settings
- Ensure quality standards and evidence-based practice in audiology services
- Participate in service planning and development initiatives
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent professional qualification
- Registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical audiology
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in healthcare settings
- Advanced knowledge of audiological equipment and assessment techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Audiology or related field
- Experience in community healthcare service delivery
- Previous supervisory experience with audiology staff
- Training in specialized audiological procedures
- Knowledge of HSE policies and healthcare management systems
