About the Role
Our Plumber Mullingar position involves maintaining and repairing essential water systems, heating, and mechanical infrastructure across our busy hospital facility. You’ll work as part of our dedicated maintenance team ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services for our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance throughout the hospital complex
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in acute hospital environment
- Install and maintain water supply systems, drainage, and heating infrastructure
- Respond to emergency plumbing issues to ensure continuous hospital operations
- Collaborate with technical services team on planned maintenance programs
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations including Safe Pass certification
- Document maintenance activities and report on system performance
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Recognized trade qualification in plumbing or equivalent experience
- Experience in fault finding and mechanical systems maintenance
- Building site or hospital maintenance background preferred
- Current Safe Pass certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong problem-solving abilities for emergency situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare or institutional environments
- Knowledge of hospital-grade plumbing and heating systems
- Additional trade certifications or specializations
