Job Overview
As Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Renal Dialysis, you will provide clinical leadership, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and support the development of renal nursing practices. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, mentoring staff, and fostering a patient-centred culture within the dialysis service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate nursing care within the Renal Dialysis Unit.
- Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Support and mentor nursing staff through clinical supervision and training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage resources efficiently to meet patient needs and service demands.
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of post-registration experience in Renal Nursing.
- Proven leadership and management skills within a clinical setting.
Preferred
- Postgraduate qualification in Renal Nursing or Clinical Leadership.
- Experience in quality improvement, staff development, and service innovation.
