Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is seeking a dedicated Staff Grade Educational Psychologist for our Children’s Disability Network Team in Dublin North. This permanent wholetime role offers competitive compensation (€61,362 – €105,050) and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s developmental services.
About the Role
As Staff Grade Educational Psychologist, you’ll provide specialized psychological assessment and intervention services within our Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). You’ll work with children aged 0-18 years presenting with complex developmental needs requiring interdisciplinary intervention. This position reports to the CDNT Team Leader and operates within our Family Centered Practice Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive psychological assessments for children with complex developmental needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention programs for children aged 0-18 years
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers
- Provide family-centered psychological support following Progressing Disability Services guidelines
- Conduct psychological evaluations and prepare detailed assessment reports
- Deliver therapeutic interventions using appropriate psychological frameworks
- Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Essential Qualifications
Education: Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or equivalent professional qualification
Experience: Minimum 2 years in educational psychology + 1 year in child development services
Registration: Registration with Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
Skills: Expertise in child psychological assessment, intervention planning, and family-centered practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications in developmental psychology or autism spectrum interventions
- Experience with interdisciplinary team working in disability services
- Knowledge of Progressing Disability Services framework
- Additional training in family therapy or systemic interventions
