Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to join our Safe Staffing Coordination team in Cavan, specializing in TrendCare workforce management systems. This permanent wholetime position offers the opportunity to lead staffing optimization initiatives across our acute care services while ensuring safe patient care through evidence-based staffing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safe staffing coordination initiatives using TrendCare workforce management systems
- Manage clinical nursing teams across Cavan and Monaghan healthcare facilities
- Implement evidence-based staffing models to optimize patient care outcomes
- Coordinate with nursing management to ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels
- Monitor and analyze staffing data through TrendCare system reporting
- Develop and maintain staffing policies and procedures for safe patient care
- Collaborate with clinical directors and nursing leadership on strategic workforce planning
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration
- Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience in acute care settings
- Previous experience in nursing management or clinical coordination roles
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe staffing principles and workforce planning
- Proficiency in healthcare technology systems and data analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TrendCare or similar workforce management systems
- Post-graduate qualification in nursing management or healthcare administration
- Previous experience in safe staffing coordination or nursing informatics
- Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures
- Experience in acute care nursing across multiple specialties
