Join the HSE Technology & Transformation (T&T) Directorate and help strengthen the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE), which supports enterprise-wide digital systems across Ireland’s health service. This permanent, full-time Grade VII SAP Senior Basis Analyst role (Ref: TT6325) offers flexible base location at one of several HSE sites nationwide.
About the Role
As a Senior SAP Basis Analyst (Grade VII 0582), you will provide high-level technical administration, optimisation and support for SAP systems across HSE environments. You will ensure performance, reliability and compliance within the SAP landscape while collaborating with project teams and business users across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP Basis Administration support for multiple landscapes.
- Manage SAP Transport Management processes and ensure version control integrity.
- Oversee technical setup, installation, upgrades and maintenance of SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor system performance, perform tuning and manage backups.
- Contribute to SAP CoE strategy, documentation and knowledge-sharing.
- Support audit, security and system compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience in SAP Basis Administration and SAP Transport Management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and design.
- Understanding of SAP support offerings, tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in large-scale or public-sector SAP environments.
- SAP certification or equivalent professional training.
- Familiarity with HANA, Solution Manager and cloud-based SAP systems.
