The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting for Grade VII (Grád VII) – Management/Admin/ICT roles within the IHA Dublin South & Wicklow (FSS Baile Átha Cliath Theas & Cill Mhantáin) area. This is an internal recruitment campaign open to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies per WRC Agreement 161867.
About the Role
This Grade VII administrative position is a key management role supporting operational and service delivery across the Older Persons Services and Mental Health Services in the Dublin South and Wicklow regions. Successful candidates will provide leadership, coordination, and governance within a dynamic healthcare environment.

- 1 Permanent, Whole-time post – Mental Health Services, Newcastle Hospital, Greystones, Co. Wicklow
A panel may be formed to fill future permanent or specified-purpose full-time or part-time vacancies in the IHA Dublin South & Wicklow area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative and operational processes within assigned services.
- Coordinate staff and manage performance to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance reports.
- Support budgetary control and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and national guidelines.
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and data management.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders across care services.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Current employment with HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant management or administrative experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred
- Qualification in health service management, business administration, or ICT.
- Experience with HSE systems and governance frameworks.
- Proven record of implementing process improvement or change management initiatives.
