About the Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist (Grade 3301), you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced clinical interventions within the Pathfinder initiative, helping patients achieve improved independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Lead case management and coordinate therapy plans with the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement projects.
- Mentor junior therapists and students.
- Engage with community and acute services to support smooth care transitions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HSE policies.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (CORU-registered).
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in rehabilitation or acute care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Pathfinder or community-based integrated care programmes.
- Postgraduate certification in rehabilitation or advanced practice.
- Familiarity with HSE systems and multidisciplinary collaboration models.

- Salary (as per HSE Consolidated Pay Scales, effective 1 August 2025):
