The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and Midlands region is recruiting a Dental Nurse (Ref: DML912025) for a permanent part-time position initially based in Naas, Co. Kildare. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support community dental services within the public health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dental surgeons in clinical and administrative duties.
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and materials for treatment.
- Ensure patient comfort and uphold infection prevention standards.
- Record and maintain patient data accurately using HSE systems.
- Support oral health promotion initiatives in community settings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Dental Nursing.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Dental Council of Ireland.
- Experience in a clinical dental or healthcare environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Medical and Dental Unclassified 1996.
- Salary: HSE consolidated salary scales (effective 1 August 2025) in line with public sector pay policy.
- Contract type: Permanent part-time.
- Benefits: Public service pension, incremental salary progression, and HSE employee benefits.
