The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and South East Health Region is inviting applications for the role of Ceannaire Seirbhíse IHA (IHA Service Lead). There are five permanent, whole-time vacancies across the Integrated Healthcare Areas in Waterford, Wexford, Dublin South, and Wicklow.
This internal recruitment campaign is open only to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, and statutory health agencies as per the WRC Agreement 161867.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the strategic and operational management of Integrated Healthcare Areas (IHAs) within the assigned region.
• Deliver high-quality community-based healthcare services in line with HSE strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support integrated service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with national health service standards, performance indicators, and resource management.
• Represent the HSE in regional health planning and service delivery forums.
• Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and team leadership across IHAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Current employment within the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38, or statutory health agency.
• Demonstrated experience in health service management or leadership.
• Proven knowledge of integrated care and community service delivery models.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Access to suitable transport and flexibility to travel across the region.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Head of Function / Service – Community Services (Grade Code 0087).
• Salary: As per Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 August 2025, in accordance with Circular 6/2025 (FEMPI Acts).
• Contract: Permanent, wholetime.
• Working hours: Flexible, as required to meet the operational needs of the service.
• Pension and leave entitlements per HSE public sector terms.
