The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to join the Oncology and Haematology service in Cavan. This permanent whole-time role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical leadership and support for specialist cancer care services. Applicants from both HSE and non-HSE backgrounds are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate nursing care within Oncology and Haematology services.
• Support safe, high-quality patient care while complying with national clinical standards.
• Manage staff rosters, supervision, and performance in a complex care environment.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, guidelines, and evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and patient-flow initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Oncology, Haematology, and Acute Services.
• Support audit, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered general nurse with active NMBI registration.
• Relevant post-registration experience in Oncology, Haematology, or acute care.
• Demonstrated leadership experience at CNM1 or equivalent level.
• Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead clinical teams in a busy, evolving care environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and high-quality patient outcomes.

• HSE Clinical Nurse Manager II salary scale (Grade 2119) applies.
• Permanent wholetime contract.
