The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an Interim Physiotherapy Manager for the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Kildare. This role offers an opportunity to lead and manage high-quality physiotherapy services that support children and families across the region. Candidates from both HSE and non-HSE backgrounds are welcome to apply. The position is a specified purpose wholetime contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage physiotherapy services within the Children’s Disability Network Team
• Oversee service planning, performance, and delivery of high-quality care
• Provide clinical governance, supervision, and support to physiotherapy staff
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, standards, and professional guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver integrated supports to children and families
• Manage resources, caseloads, and service priorities effectively
• Represent the physiotherapy service at internal and external meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
• CORU registration (Physiotherapists Registration Board)
• Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience
• Strong clinical reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
• Access to transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
