Key Responsibilities
• Complete Bus Éireann’s Professional Bus Driver Training Programme.
• Learn to operate a range of bus types safely and efficiently.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to passengers.
• Ensure safety, punctuality, and comfort on all routes.
• Represent Bus Éireann as a professional and courteous public transport operator.
• Participate in ongoing CPC and professional development training.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Valid Irish Category B driving licence (for at least 2 years) or Category C licence with no endorsements.
• Valid Irish Category D Learner Permit.
• Valid Irish CPC Bus Case Study sheet (must be issued within the last 2 years).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer care.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Training allowance: €639.63 per week while obtaining D Licence.
• Qualified driver rate: €802.99–€929.66 per week, plus overtime opportunities.
