Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist (Neurology) to deliver and develop a high-quality neurology and stroke physiotherapy service. This permanent wholetime post is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and plays a key leadership role within the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service in neurology and stroke care
• Act as a senior decision-maker within the interdisciplinary team
• Organise, coordinate and continuously develop physiotherapy services for neurology patients
• Support the Physiotherapy Manager in delivering a client-centred service across regional networks
• Provide expert assessment, intervention, consultation and contribute to trauma and rehabilitation pathways
• Support junior team members in clinical development and pathway improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
• Significant post-qualification clinical experience in neurology and/or stroke rehabilitation
• Proven ability to work as a senior clinician within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong assessment, intervention and patient-management skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational capability
• Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Senior Physiotherapist (Code 3158)
Salary Scale (1 August 2025): €63,912–€75,254 (9 points)
Contract: Permanent Wholetime
Includes full HSE benefits: pension, leave entitlements, and access to professional development programmes.
