HSE Mid West is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Service, Finance to provide senior financial leadership across community services. This is a high-impact role supporting governance, financial planning, and sustainable service delivery across the Mid West region.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage regional finance functions for community services
• Provide strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and risk management
• Advise senior leadership on financial strategy and resource allocation
• Oversee financial performance reporting and controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary finance teams
• Support service transformation and efficiency initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Significant senior-level experience in financial management
• Proven leadership experience within complex organisations
• Strong knowledge of public sector finance and governance (desirable)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant professional accountancy qualification or equivalent experience
