An internal opportunity has arisen for a Grade VII Payroll professional within Payroll Services, Finance Shared Services (FSS), National Finance and Procurement Division. This role plays a critical leadership function in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across the South East region. The post is based in Lacken, Dublin Road, Kilkenny, with national panel formation for future vacancies.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage payroll operations within Finance Shared Services
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and adherence to HSE policies
• Manage and support payroll staff and workflows
• Oversee payroll controls, audits, and reporting requirements
• Liaise with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to service improvement and payroll modernisation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with public sector pay policy and legislation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Eligibility restricted to HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies only
- Significant experience in payroll management within a large organisation
- Strong knowledge of public sector pay, pensions, and compliance frameworks
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- High level of IT literacy, including payroll systems and reporting tools
