Beaumont Hospital is appointing a Consultant Neuroradiologist to join its Radiology Directorate in Dublin North. This permanent whole-time role supports complex diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology services within a major tertiary referral centre.

The post plays a key role in acute neuroscience care, multidisciplinary decision-making, and the ongoing development of neuroradiology services.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultant-level neuroradiology reporting across CT, MRI, and angiography
• Support acute stroke, neurosurgical, and neurological services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
• Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Supervise and support NCHDs and radiology trainees
• Take part in on-call and out-of-hours rotas as required
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential
• Registration on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland in Radiology
• Sub-specialist training and experience in Neuroradiology
• Demonstrated experience in a consultant or equivalent senior role
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable
• Experience in a tertiary referral neuroscience centre
• Involvement in teaching, audit, or research activities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is in line with HSE Consultant Radiologist (Grade 1180) pay scales, as governed by Department of Health consolidated salary arrangements.
