Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support nursing staff within the gynaecological cancer service
• Plan and coordinate patient-centred care pathways
• Support clinical governance, safety, and quality standards
• Manage staffing, rostering, and daily service delivery
• Support education, training, and staff development
• Work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams
• Contribute to audit, service improvement, and reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential
• Registration as a nurse on the NMBI register
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
• At least 2 years in a senior nursing or leadership role
• Experience in oncology, gynaecology, or acute services
• Strong leadership and communication skills
Desirable
• Management or leadership qualification
• Experience in cancer care services
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade 2119) national pay scale
• Current scale ranges from €61,463 to €77,666 per annum, depending on experience
• Permanent whole-time contract
