An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist (Adult Mental Health) to join community-based mental health services across Dublin North. This permanent, whole-time post plays a key clinical and leadership role within multidisciplinary teams supporting adults with complex mental health needs.

This role offers meaningful clinical impact, professional autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to service development across integrated health areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults with mental health needs
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to staff-grade occupational therapists and students
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary mental health teams
• Contribute to care planning, recovery-focused practice, and service development initiatives
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and risk management
• Participate in audit, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
• Engage with service users, families, and carers in a recovery-oriented manner

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration as an Occupational Therapist with CORU
• Minimum required post-qualification experience for Senior OT grade
• Demonstrated experience in adult mental health services
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary: In line with HSE Senior Occupational Therapist (Grade 3301) consolidated pay scale
• Contract: Permanent, whole-time

Location & Employer Information

This role is based across the Integrated Health Areas of Dublin North County and Dublin North City & West, within community adult mental health services. The post forms part of a broader regional service covering North Dublin, Meath, Louth, Cavan, and Monaghan.
