An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) in Radiation Oncology with a specialist interest in Head & Neck cancers. This role is based at St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, delivering advanced, patient-centred oncology care within a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide autonomous advanced clinical practice in radiation oncology
• Lead assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up for Head & Neck cancer patients
• Prescribe and manage treatments within scope of practice
• Collaborate closely with consultants, radiographers, nurses and allied health professionals
• Contribute to service development, audit and quality improvement initiatives
• Support education, mentorship and clinical supervision of nursing staff
• Participate in research and evidence-based practice initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Relevant postgraduate qualification at Master’s level or higher
• Significant clinical experience in oncology, ideally Head & Neck cancers
• Demonstrated competence in advanced clinical decision-making and prescribing
• Strong leadership, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary Scale: €71,408 – €88,123 per annum (ANP General, Point 1–9, effective 1 August 2025)
