Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, effective, evidence-based nursing care within the community
• Demonstrate professional competence across the Staff Nurse General scope of practice
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support individuals, families, and communities
• Promote health education, disease prevention, and health protection initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to HSE policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement, audit, and service development activities
• Uphold professional standards, ethics, and continuous professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of professional nursing knowledge and experience
• Experience across a range of clinical settings relevant to public health nursing
• Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

• Salary in line with HSE Staff Nurse – General pay scale (Grade 2135), including approved increments and allowances
