Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Social Care Worker (Disability Services) to join its team in South Connemara, Co. Galway. This permanent whole-time role supports adults with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, inclusive lives within their communities. This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred supports to individuals with disabilities
• Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion
• Implement individual care and support plans
• Support daily living, social, and recreational activities
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Adhere to HIQA standards, policies, and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification in Social Care or a related discipline (QQI Level 7/8 or equivalent)
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register)
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Full clean driving licence desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary: In line with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales for Social Care Worker Grade 3029 (effective 1 August 2025)
