An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 within Cancer Services at University Hospital Limerick. This role provides clinical and professional leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred oncology care within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and operational management for designated cancer services
• Ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, person-centred care
• Manage staffing, rosters, and resources effectively
• Support clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and develop nursing staff within the service
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across oncology services
• Contribute to service planning and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse on the live Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by NMBI
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, including oncology experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management role
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in cancer nursing
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary Scale: €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (Clinical Nurse Manager 2 scale, inclusive of LSI where applicable)

Location & Employer Information
