An exciting internal opportunity has arisen for a Grade VI Project Officer within National HR Disability Workforce & Resourcing. This role supports strategic workforce initiatives across disability services, contributing to national HR projects that strengthen workforce planning, resourcing, and service delivery. The post is based in Sligo, with blended working available following the orientation period.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Support national HR projects related to disability workforce planning and resourcing
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement
• Analyse workforce data and contribute to policy and service improvement initiatives
• Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management
• Work collaboratively with national and regional HR teams
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, governance, and reporting requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice in HR project delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Eligibility restricted to current employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (per WRC Agreement 161867)
• Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project support roles
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience working in HR, workforce planning, or public sector environments (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with HSE Grade VI (0574) consolidated pay scales
• Permanent whole-time, permanent part-time, specified purpose whole-time and part-time contracts available
• Blended working (office and remote) available following successful completion of the orientation period
