Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day clinical care to obstetric and gynaecology patients
• Participate in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services
• Assist in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Support consultants and registrars in theatre and clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Participate in on-call and rota duties as required
• Engage in audit, teaching, and continuous professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Degree in Medicine
• Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
• IELTS or OET where applicable
• Previous Irish or UK clinical experience (essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical governance
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE NCHD Senior House Officer salary scale (€54,203 – €74,133 per annum, depending on point)
• Contract: Specified Purpose, Wholetime

• Participation in the NCHD on-call rota
