About the Role
Galway Roscommon Mental Health Services is currently recruiting two permanent Health Care Assistants. The successful candidates will provide essential support to service users across mental health care settings in either:

  • Tullahill House, Tullahill, Loughrea, Co. Galway, H62 D767
  • Adult Acute Mental Health Unit (AAMHU), Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital Galway

These roles involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing direct care and support to service users. Night shifts and weekend work are required as part of the roster.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital, residential care, community services, or nursing home)
  • A clean manual driving licence is required for the community-based post and is desirable for other posts
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and night duty
  • Additional role-specific requirements may be outlined during the selection process
