Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of a national communications strategy aligned to CRC’s 2025–2030 strategic plan
- Drive organisational repositioning and brand transformation initiatives
- Manage internal and external communications across diverse stakeholder groups
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on communications, reputation and public affairs
- Oversee media engagement, public relations and crisis communications
- Develop digital, social and content strategies to enhance national visibility
- Ensure consistent messaging aligned with rights-based and evidence-led practice
- Build and lead an integrated communications function
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven senior-level communications leadership experience
- Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes within public or healthcare sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in organisational repositioning and brand strategy
- Strong media relations and public affairs experience
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills
- Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners
- Relevant third-level qualification in Communications, Public Affairs, Media, or related discipline
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade VII (0582) salary scale (publicly funded Section 38 agency – aligned but may differ from HSE terms)
