Halting Site Caretaker – Panel Formation | Sligo County Council

Sligo County Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for inclusion on a panel for the role of Halting Site Caretaker.

This panel will be used to fill vacancies as they arise within the Council. The Halting Site Caretaker will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and day-to-day management of halting sites, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and maintain halting site facilities
  • Monitor and report repairs or issues
  • Liaise with residents and relevant Council departments
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a caretaker or maintenance role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
