Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing team within the Admitted Patients Acute Floor.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care.
- Support clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee staffing, rostering, and workforce planning in line with service needs.
- Promote professional development, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies, HIQA standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to manage clinical risk and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary Scale (February 2026): €62,078 – €78,443 (LSI) per annum, in line with HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 2 pay scale.
