Children’s Health Ireland is seeking an experienced Audiologist Clinical Specialist to join its specialist paediatric audiology service in Dublin. This permanent wholetime position offers an excellent opportunity to lead and deliver advanced audiology services within a nationally recognised children’s healthcare setting.
The Audiologist Clinical Specialist Dublin role is ideal for a highly skilled professional committed to clinical excellence, service development and patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary paediatric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostic audiological assessments for infants, children and adolescents.
- Lead complex case management including hearing aid fitting, cochlear implant assessment and auditory rehabilitation.
- Deliver specialist clinical opinion and support multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Supervise and mentor audiology staff, students and junior colleagues.
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with professional standards.
- Participate in audit, research and service evaluation projects.
- Ensure adherence to national policies, HIQA standards and best practice guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Audiology eligible for CORU registration.
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience in paediatric audiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology techniques.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary aligned with HSE consolidated pay scales for Audiologist – Clinical Specialist (Grade 3447), effective February 2026, in accordance with public sector pay policy.
