???? About the Role
Mayo University Hospital is recruiting a permanent whole-time Clinical Midwife Manager 2 to lead our Maternity Outpatients service. This key leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee outpatient midwifery care, ensuring high-quality clinical standards, team coordination, and patient-centred service delivery.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Maternity Outpatients department
- Deliver exceptional midwifery care—continuity, assisted, and specialised models included
- Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient service
- Maintain and enforce clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement
- Support staff development, mentoring, and performance management
???? Role Requirements
- Proven depth and breadth of experience in a maternity setting
- Direct experience in supportive, assisted, and specialised midwifery care models
- Track record in clinical leadership, staff supervision, and service improvement
